What do you think actually happened to Rhys?

His computer epicly failed. My comp was out for about 1 month this summer btw hard drive and motherboard issues.

Without access to any other computers at all to inform us? Friends? Family? School? Library? Far too many resources in this day and age for it to be that simple.

well theres all types of possiblitys suicide, murder, jailed, hit his head and lost his memory, or falsely deported and forced to work in the spice mines of Jupiter 7....
but the most likely thing is he gave up completely and cracked under pressure....

theories:

-comp died, unpossible to get a new one
-gave up forever
-hurricane/natural disaster
-went on a trip
-death

theories denied:

-comp died, unpossible to get a new one (no computer access AT ALL? please. rhys would find a way.)
-gave up forever (possible; but i would think rhys wouldve told us. even sin did.)
-hurricane/natural disaster
-went on a trip (rhys would have told us before leaving.)
-death

theories left and such:

-gave up forever (HIGHLY unlikely; see theories denied)

.......this would explain why rhys has no comp access. but unlikely.

.......very unlikely, but its possible... it would explain why rhys hasnt been active... but really? random death? drunk driving... idk.


idk. lets check the things rhys said last, and rhys' job.

Things we need to find to determine reason of absence:
-date of last post (point since rhys has been mia)
-date of last infobot sighting (point since comp went down)
-details of last communication between rhys and pythagoras (clues there?)
-details of job (job: "bomb defuser"... something? lol)
-location of rhys (hurricane area? tornado alley?)

death is more likely then you believe if he did (god forbid) we would have 0 chance of knowing

Personally, although I hope not, I subscribe to the death theory. I cannot think of anything else that would as plausibly explain his total disappearance.

Secondary possibility would be some combination of uber grounding and/or him actually hating us and the whole personality we got to know being a lie.

Everything else is out I believe. He either died, or he doesn't like us as much as he said, or he was uber grounded/jailed.

or hes a hermit finishing the map.. alone...

the think the highest possibility was that he either died.. or was jailed.. course if he was jailed he could have someone tell us.. unless he was in a maximum security prison with no visiting hours.. but i highly doubt it..

anyone have any personal information about him? name or something that we could go on?

I also have his msn and his profile should tell where he lives...but if it was weathr that bad its be on the news like Katrina Was lol..so thats off too. i think he was nor jailed or killed...1) he isnt ..or doesnt seem like a bad kid...2) i dont want to belive he is dead 3) dude WAS my best friend online =S

also i think if his computer simply just crashed..we could wait til lhis birthday the...21 of december...aslo x-mas..which could also mean he gets a new computer if he isnt back by then its a wrap.

You guys are making some theories that are a bit ridiculous... He probably just got caught up with life. No one suggested Zync died when he left for a long time ago. Also, Whenever I got caught up with life, I didn't even use the computer for weeks.

Nah - I think death is fully possible. He always said when stuff was happening and how his life was going on. I.E Paint ball weekend. He would atleast say he's quitting not just say "Ya 8.0 this Saturday" and not say anything for 2 months.

and it seems like rhys was very informative about what was goin on with his disappearances and his last post was about what spells he removed from the m-books...

According to Pyth, the changes in the MM&M were really "lamesauce". Not enjoying what you're doing leads to leaving... like me. However, I never left the community due to how much I like it and the fact that I created it... and I truly enjoy seeing that we're still communicating and such.

rhys would never leave so suddenly as to go without some sort of announcement.
