| So who do you vote for? no jokin around or making fun of em be serious bout em..
im not very smart about politics so i will be quiet mostly but no one made one and it surprised me since its election day.. so go on and debate.. and vote now!
for me i would vote for mccain because im republican.. tho if it got right down to it i like some of the things obama says he will do about healthcare..
if you get RIGHT down to it.. to the deepest level.. they are both rotten rich bastards.. im not joking i really believe this..
its very unfortunate that all the good honest people who run for president just dont have the money to satisfy their respective party.. |

| Obama won this election easily. It's gonna be a landslide. I'll be at the party for Obama later tonight. | |

| Obama. Even if you're a republican, it doesn't make sense to vote for McCain. He has flipflopped on so many issues - pretty much changing his mind (not because of new evidence) on every issue. The man he was in 2000, is but merely a ghost. The real McCain is dead. Right now he's a huge puppet. If he wins, I don't care - but that just screams rigged. (See conspiracy theory topic ). Obama should have this with a landslide as Dragon said. | |

| If McCain hadn't chosen Sarah Palin as his running mate I would have been okay with any outcome. That choice though was too much.
Btw, I was just thinking today, how many people on this forum can vote? I can...But I figure I'm above the average W3 player age. |

| I heard that 22 other countries were polled and all 22 wanted to see Obama win. Don't have source, or how/who they polled, but I'm not surprised.
If McPalin wins, I just may move to Canada... |

everything.the reason she isn't fit for the job is because -alaska has limited perspective, 3rd least populated, country is almost fully white and english, etc... -she 'shoots before looking', saying something but being unable to back it up with info; basically, everything she says is either exaggerated or opinionated. something the bush administration has done for 8 years. (go look at the 'everything') ALSO: edit to my last post... how is HALF THE COUNTRY 1%?!!? either your math is bad, or the middle-east just assaulted us.

i'll drop it when demonic accepts the set fact that 50% is not 1% D:
and that the news people didn't say that, he did.

| Mccain had a win speech... but obama never had a loss speech but anyway isn't it awkward to have to write your own loss speech/plan one? (or your writer's loss speech, w/e) | |

| I got really confused by something Bart said... Land of the terrorists? What's with that? The way I read it was that because Obama won, the U.S. is suddenly comprised of terrorists... I was thinking about something along those lines this morning...
Obama winning is a hollow victory. Why? Because some asshole from the crazy fundamental religious right will probably kill him. Yeah, at that point, the U.S. will be a crazed nation of true terrorists. All it means to be a terrorist is to get people to think your way by use of terror. Whether that terror is threat of death or threat of economic instability is your call.

| I'm surprised nobody has challenged the "landslide victory" comments; Obama won by a margin of 186 electoral votes with 349 vs. McCain's 163. However, one should note that the popular vote was much closer. From reuters.com : "Obama won at least 349 Electoral College votes, based on state voting, far more than the 270 he needed. With 96 percent of the popular vote counted, he led McCain by 52 percent to 46 percent." So by popular vote he only lead 6% +/- 4% Hardly a landslide when viewed from that angle, I think. Whatever you call it though, I'm glad he won. |
