My brother got a PS3 for his Birthday today, spoiled kid...He's only 9. Anywho - I figured I'd take advantage of that. What are some good games for PS2/3 that you think I'd like. I've been looking around but don't feel like reading that much anymore.

Metal Gear Solid # (I don't remember which is the new one.)
Naruto Ultimate Ninja: Storm

Those are my top 3 wants off the top of my head, but there are actually quite a few good games.

One of my favorites if not THE favorite PS2 game is "Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits." It is an RPG obviously, but the storyline is pretty good, the animation is good, and the combat system is relatively unique. Combat is almost more like Advanced Wars than Final Fantasy. For a bonus, play the Human and Daemos campaigns with two different people and then work together for the ending when the two teams join-up.

Well, I need a 2player game that I can face my brother in from time to time. Preferably a fighting game - equivalent of SSBM/Brawl for PS3.

I personally like RPG games. Final Fantasy & Chrono Trigger are amongst my all time favorite games.

Shooters - not as much. I got into counterstrike at an early age, and it ate my life up. It was more addicting than fun.

Strategy games are great. Nothing too hardcore microing though...like Romance of the three kingdoms. Something a bit simpler like WC3/FFT level.

Action/Adventure are good too. I remember Metal Gear Solid & Spyro being good when I had a PS1, but I don't know if they've gotten worse over the years... (Spyro has like a 5/10 rating now, so I might as well get the old one XD).

Naruto Ultimate Ninja: Storm is a great fighting game. It is a little different from most fighting games, because it doesn't encourage button mashing. It is alot more strategic, because you have to have precise timing and know when to do certain things. For instance, you have a super move that you can use almost any time, but it is very easy to block unless you set it up right. You also have a substitution move that can negate any attack and teleport you behind the enemy, but it takes extreme precision timing to use, and only really works if you can predict your opponent.

And I believe I already pointed out how fun Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits is with two people.

Fallout 3 is uber but single player I believe. Still a great game though.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance feels very much like Gauntlet: Dark Legacy but with less bosses and items, but added Marvel heroes and a bit of an RPG side. It's ok, but I still prefer Gauntlet to it.

Actually, I think PS3 has the best collection of games out of the 3 consoles unless your a SSBB fanatic like me or a FPS fanatic like most of my friends. Of course the PS3 also costs a ridiculous amount of money, so I have no intention of ever getting one.

Ok I consider myself a resident expert in the PS3 among other Sony products, so this is definitally my topic. For games...

You like RPG? How about living life as a mercenary during the 100 Years War in France? Fighting for either side, whoever pays better? Commanding regiments of multiple troop types (theres like 10 different kinds of infantry regiments, like 5 cavalry and 5 archer type, and by different infantry types I mean like sword/shield vs pikes.). Aquiring gold and items through the battlefield? Conquering massive castles and strongholds throughout the landscape? If the above appeals to you I suggest going onto the PlayStation store and getting the FREE BladeStorm demo. It has about an hour worth of playing time and its a good demo to see if youd like the game.

There are plenty of other games I could reccomend you too, but I have to go -10 minutes go. Will update later.

Soul Caliber IV =/= SSBB. In fact, it isn't even the best Soul Caliber game...
