Shaman Request

I'd like to request that when it's possible, my bot, SinisteRing, be promoted to shaman. Why? Because with the new map, I'd like to have some form of authority in the channel or some weird thing like that. I don't really have a good reason why, I'm only requesting it, especially since there's only 4 shamans right now (Hades left).

I also want Shaman powers back if Sinister's bot is declined. I'm being active again and I require the ability to moderate the channel and change the welcome message. If that is unacceptable, just getting shaman access on Rhys's bot would be a decent alternative.

I was saving the spot for someone who hosts mm&m often.

Dragon, if you'd play/host mm&m more, then sure. (If I see that nobody is fit for it, someone else will probably get promoted; someone from the forum? idk. I don't like promoting people unless I intend to keep them there, as recieving a demotion with the message "You've been replaced by someone better," isn't... the best thing for your character.)

You already demoted me so you could replace me with someone better, but then never did. I don't see the problem with letting me be a Shaman while you wait instead of me being nothing while you look for a replacement.

I can host and i /try/ to host a lot but not a lot join i've hosted 2 noobies fullhouses today..not fun..got everyone to lvl 8 atleast xD. lol

The top requirement for someone to be a shaman:
-they like mm&m
-they will play mm&m


I know you like mm&m, but do you play it? (this is pretty much directed at everyone)

If so, then there is a possibility.


edit: dragon, I demoted you because I did not expect/feel that you would be one to play MM&M (And I never saw aqua on). What's the point of having a shaman who doesn't do what the clan is centered around? If you play mm&m now then... maybe? There's a good chance.

You can technically make my bot the only shaman and I can delegate shaman powers to as many players as you want through the bot. Its really quite easy.

Anyways let me know who you want to have the access I wont give it to just anyone, even though I don't think Sin is just anyone none the less technically its your clan in bnet so you have control over who has the shaman powers on bnet.

I've been playing MM&M again lately. The other day I got 5ish midbies a total of around 60 levels in one game by feeding them and then questing with them. Took like 2 fricken hours. (1-19, 17-29, 28-44, and others like that.)

Anyway, the only problem with the bot is that I didn't think it could change the clan message. I needed to edit that earlier. It needs to remind everyone to #1 keep the channel clean and spam free (No massive amounts of cursing, over-the-top sex conversations, or just typing way too much in general.) and to remind them that the clan is alive again so the channel will be active and they should expect it. Yesterday like 90% of all the conversation in the clan was people logging on and spamming for like 5 minutes about how the clan channel was so full.

As i said, the "Be able to host" rule is so pointless, i just invited 3 people, and 1-2 yesterday, just because i joined a MM&M and told them to drop by .

I think Kuro would like the shamans to be able to host. It would be helpful, you know.

with the bot, as long as someone with mod commands from the bot can inv, so someone could ask one of them/us. having Grunts and above be able to host also makes it so you always know who can ad can't be asked to host.

Not exactly sure what exactly the issue is here, nothing majorly offensive. Please do not make me take away banning privileges of the bot. Your job as a shaman is not to take the advice from players on who to ban in the channel, it is more over your job to ignore what the public says and determine the truth of the matter. Banning was not necessary in this case and its an abuse of power to do so. In the future if a Shaman has an issue with someone I highly suggest they Use the Temporary Minute Ban until Kuro comes online and leave the Perma Banning up to Kuro.
