bless buff

i just thought that bless could use a 3/6/9% spell reduction. comments?

would make it useful, since it is kinda sad now...

it would actually make blessing ally heroes useful, instead of just being good on mountaingiants, npc heroes and creeps.

(possible bonus to 4/8/12%)

i agree as armor does nothing.. the only use for holy nova right now is massive AoE heals and creep pushes... does nothing for heroes or mages

either do the spell reduction thing or make armor more usefull for something...

actually those numbers are 2 high but I do support it giving spell resist like 3/5/7

i like the idea, but plz remember that this will work on creeps too, so it can't be too major. I do like it, gj Kuro.

i know it will work on creeps but right now it only_works_on_creeps.

+1 from me. If the spell becomes too strong with this, simply remove/reduce the armor bonus. Spell resistance would work better here anyway IMO.

I suggested this a long time ago...when Zync was around. He gave me a decent reason not to add it. Though I can't remember what it was... Undecided for now.

The problem is that it will give the spell reduction to creeps on a push... 7% isn't much but it's enough. The counter to holy nova is fire nova at least for creep killing and such. Why not just make the bless spell reduction only count on heroes rather than on creeps? A holy mage would be so much more valuable to a team at that point... or perhaps a way to make it 7% reduction (at max level) for the next 5 spells or something because 7% for 2 minutes is kind of alot?

I think spell reduction isn't the way to go anymore. Spell resistance + Constant heals...it's a lot. Maybe spell damage return or something (Low amount, and only works on heroes, like 2-5%).

i think it should be damage resistance still but not for creeps... creeps should just stay effecting damage... but for mages i think it should add resistance...

Maybe the spell resist can be unique to the the single cast bless?

than what about holy nova?! the whole point of it is to be mass bless + heal... if it doesnt have the same effects as bless its just a pointless AoE heal for creeps...

then whats the point of a single cast bless?

for lower level holy mages to have a buff... once you get holy nova there is no point for it... which is why holy nova cost so many skill points because its a replacement for another spell...

bless has its use for the first 35 or so lvls of a holy mage...

and whats that use? cast on mg ally? spamcast on creeps every 8 seconds?

if this happens and buffs bless to have some resistance it should have the same effect for holy nova.. holy nova is simply a better bless if it doesnt do the have the same effect then whats ITS use?!

bless has no use right now neither does holy nova besides AoE heal...

bless WILL have use if it gives resistance.. use on yourself on other mages but holy nova should have the same effect or whats the point of spending 18 skilll points to get something that is SUPPOSED to be a better bless but isnt...

Nuhuh, only Holy bolt + 3x heal. And only in a certain AoE . That's not EVERYTHING or fully ...all be it instant.

thats not the base point of holy nova... the point of holy nova is an improved AoE bless.. the heal is a bonus... if it doesnt have the same effect as bless it takes away its original point..

I use it much for the AoE heal after they throw AoE than for an AoE bless on creeps, but that's just me.

if we are going to add effects to bless without adding them to holy nova which is bless with AoE then holy nova remains just a heal which was what it was not meant to be..

...and bless becomes a spell that is actually useful to manual cast on ally heroes.
