| Just a simple suggestion to make a Level Counter. I suggest placing this counter where the Food counter is located. Currently there's a human icon with 0/0 in that top right corner of the screen, so if possible change it to count the current level. Or possibly show the current level and the amount of levels (unless this is suppose to be a secrete.
10/40 - no secrete (states explicitly there are 40 levels)
10 - hides how many levels there are. | |

| Ohh wait, now that I think about it, did you mean Metacian level (Wich would be useless) or Wave level?
If you meant wave level, then yes, that's good in my opinion.

| Level counter as in not Level Metacian level.
In Tower Defense games they tell you what level you are proceeding to and what level you are currently on.
To Zync: Suggestion for the level counter trigger, once the gold has been distributed for the end of the level, then add +1 to the level counter.
To Balnazzar, I thought I was clear, why would a Metacian Level counter be in the top right corner? When your character contains its own level counter. But I suppose I could of given the Tower Defense example to be clear, that a Level Counter is needed.
As of right now food is not being used, for sure it may be used in the future, but right now it makes sense to put the level counter there, rather than the score board, which may have problem, in which Zync and Pythagoras are already discussing in the other forums. | |

Because you should of said "Wave level counter". P.S.: The Tower Defense example is obviously not necessary, it's just wasting your time writing and ours reading it, but you seem to like doing so. | |

| Honestly, that's not a bad idea, except for 2 points.
1 - The game actually doesn't know how many levels there are, or are going to be. Once you beat one, it just gives you the next. ( It is built that way for the following reason )
2 - I don't want you to know what level you're on. Once you play if a few times you'll start to recognize certain messages and the certain colors of those messages, which basically gives you the knowledge as to what is next. But some levels ( like much of the Boss levels ) don't actually display text, because I don't want you to know that they are coming! Some kind of counter would give them away.
So no, food isn't used yet, and I don't know what I would ever use it for. But "wave" or "round" is not an option, because I don't tell you on purpose. Partly because I like being a bitch, lol, and partly because I want people talking, asking what is next! Or what round it is. | |

| Yah your right, keeping it a surprise make sense, i kinda liked it like that, and the text indications of what that comes next. It just that it would easy to identify what round we are on, if we had a level counter. But no big deal.
