| Ahh, thank you for the clarification.
Also: Ult for Mathematician Triangulation - Creates a rotating triangle centered around the mage, the triangle rotates around the mage, accelerating over time, and each time a unit is struck, damage is dealt. Size of triangle is determined by cast distance from the mage. The Effect will create a "safe zone" close to the hero, and have a large range of damage, but, the overall speed will be measured at the perimiter of the circle created by the rotating triangle, so it will hit each point less times if the size is greater. Inversely, if cast close to the hero, it will have a very small range of effectiveness, but the damage will be much more intense. Lasts X seconds, increasing with skill level; and accelerates at Y units/sec, inceasing with skill level.
^Tricky, and yet oddly precise^

| See, that sounds like a very good ultimate that takes actual skill to use. At melee range, it's imbatastic but hard to get off, but it has the ability to be like 6000 range to finish off someone with like 100HP or something. Very nice. Love it, thumbs up 8.9/10. Original too. | |

| I aslo realize tha if the target is moving, it could be possible to actually hit them with more than one point of the triangle if they move at the right speed, as their distance from the mage increases. I was thinking of capping it at around 1000-1500 range. | |

| Chain Rationalization - Essentialy chain lightning, but with a few minor modifications. The next unit struck is the unit closest to the previous unit. Each sucessive target takes 9/10 of the damage of the previous unit. Strikes a preset number on units, as determined by skill level. Deals a preset total damage, that is then distributed among the units, based on total struck.
If total is 200 1st unit takes 1x 2nd takes .9x 3rd takes .81x 4th takes .729x
This ratio is then calculated out to total the maximum damage in this case, x is aprox. 58.156 1st unit takes 58.156 2nd takes 52.3404 3rd takes 47.10636 4th takes 42.395724
Once again, based in math; and tricky, yet precise.
@Jay.j - I meant that it could possibly hit them multiple time on one rotaion of that side of the triangle, by coming into contact with multiple points of the triangle. | |

That's why. The math is to explain the usage/effect of the skill. dmg is dealt after all units are hit, based on each taking 9/10 of the dmg of the previous target, and total damage dealt by the skill equals a number set by the skill. and i only need one more skill, perhaps a passive | |

thrust [targetted] samurai 'flies' at the enemy with his sword out, stabbing them lethally. also damages any enemy along the way. (also ends up slightly behind them, if you are at A, enemy at B, then you will fly at them and end up behind them at C.)

EDIT: ok i got an idea on the crapper of a triangle what not typed move (a name wasnt in the idea >:DD) you use it on one unit and it makes that unit and the nearest unit set up into a triangle (TO THE CHART!!) A=unit A B=unit B C= Caster A |-\ |---\ C---B ok using that A and Bs life is drained into C like SO!! A |-\ |---\ V----\ C<---B tah dah?? | |

| The reason for the math is an attempt to create an idea for a "Mathematician" hero. I too am a science person, but i still am quite good at math.
Good idea, but its not terribly variable, like all the other skills have so far been. Notice all of them have damage based on multple factors, like distance, times hit, # hit.
Oh wow, Terribly overcomplicated Physics/Math based spell.
Fires a sphere in the target direction. As the Sphere travels, it leaves parts of itself behind, like a reverse snowball effect. as it sheds mass, it speeds up. this proportion of speed to mass remains constant overall (Force = Mass * Acelleration). Force stays constant, and so does damage, but as the sphere shrinks, it becomes more precise (since it becomes smalller, the area it damages becomes smaller). The sphere travels untill it runs out of mass, or strikes a unit and bursts, dealing damage based on Mass.
There... 3Skills and an Ultimate, all math based. Not to mention fairly awsome, if i do say so myself.

| What's the point of it getting smaller? You're less likely to hit your target? It would make sense if it more damage since it's accelerating faster the smaller it is. | |

| Jay, yes it gets smaller, and more difficult to hit, but the force remains constant, because the speed increases as the mass decreases. The ratio stays the same since they are multiplied together. since force is constant, so is damage.
Terrain... Take the shape of footies, but make each corner a different theme, suck as Jungle, mountains, beaches, and maybe portal type thing (see the sanctuary area from Diablo 2) where there are various platform that are only connected by portals. In the center area, have it perfectly flat, but trigger in random events like Tornado, Earthquake, Volcano, Starfall, etc. | |

| So make the damage based off speed/acceleration.
Hurts more to get hit by a speeding bullet than a huge nerf ball at a low speed (Even if the nerf is very heavy). Just saying that it feels pointless if it gets worse as it goes a long, what's the point of the long range then if there is no difference between long range and melee except it's easier to hit from melee?
Will it be more AoS style or Arena style or Footies style or what? What kind of map are you going for before terrain can REALLY be discussed. | |

| The point of the skill is an all range skill, but the farther away, the harder to hit. the thought was that it would be targeted, like hurl boulder, prolly move faster though. also, the proportional speed of a bullet is HUGE compared to a nerf ball. I realize i made a mistake also, its F=m*a a=Acelleration, not speed, so as it went, the acelleration would increase. Also, a nerf ball isn't that eavy, and its a bit squishy. If it was like a big rock, it would hurt about as much as a bullet, if the proportion was the same, but it would spread the force over a large area, not a very small point, like a bullet would. | |

| yes but thats unrealistic.
any hero with a hold, stealth, speed, etc. will be dramatically overpowered.
in a hero arena, it would be fine to have any of these crazy hero skills. | |
