visualizing things makes it happen.

this is the same way goals work. also a recent study has shown that visualizing the worst outcome of an illness increases pain dramatically. also visualizing recovery makes recovery come faster. and it wont work if you dont think itll work Razz

like rapid said, visualizing pain makes you have pain.

Have you ever heard of the experiment where they send electrical impulses in certain parts of your brain and make certain body parts feel certain things? Like in one spot your arm will feel itchy even though nothing is happening to it. In another it feels like someone poked you etc.

Reality is just what you perceive. It's just your senses. If you believe you saw something you did. On the other hand, you can believe reality is independent of whether you think something is happening or not. That then means you can't trust what you sense however - and you must be skeptical of EVERYTHING, not just certain things.

one thing i will say.. is im kinda a perenoid person.. however you spell that paranoid lol w/e.. i realized like sometimes when im having my paranoia bothering me i feel little tinges in my skin that i have to scratch to make go away when its really nothing.. i think thats my mind playing trickery on me.. perceptions or false imagery...
